1. Service Description
GarageIQ provides AI-powered diagnostic guidance and technical information for automotive repair professionals. The service includes fault code analysis, labour time estimates, repair guides, and other technical reference information.
2. Important Disclaimer
GarageIQ provides guidance and decision support tools for qualified automotive professionals. It is NOT a substitute for professional mechanic judgement, manufacturer specifications, or proper diagnostic procedures.
- All technical information (torque specifications, replacement intervals, fluid capacities, labour times) is provided as guidance and should be verified against manufacturer data for your specific vehicle before use.
- Safety-critical information including brake specifications, timing belt/chain data, and structural component data must always be confirmed against manufacturer workshop manuals.
- Labour times are estimates based on AI analysis and may differ from actual time required for your specific vehicle and circumstances.
- Part numbers and pricing are approximate and should be confirmed with your parts supplier.
3. User Responsibility
As a qualified automotive professional, you are responsible for:
- Verifying all safety-critical specifications before commencing work
- Exercising professional judgement when using GarageIQ's recommendations
- Ensuring all repairs meet relevant UK regulations and MOT standards
- Maintaining appropriate professional indemnity insurance for your business
4. Subscription and Billing
- Free Trial: 7 days, 1 user, limited queries. No payment card required.
- Pro: GBP 80 per month, up to 4 users, 1 location, unlimited queries.
- Enterprise: Custom pricing by agreement.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. No lock-in contracts.
- Refunds are not provided for partial months.
5. Account Security
- Each user must have their own login credentials. Sharing credentials is not permitted.
- Only one active session per user is permitted at any time.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- The account administrator is responsible for managing team member access.
6. Data and Privacy
- Vehicle registration lookups use the DVLA Vehicle Enquiry Service API.
- Diagnostic queries are processed by AI and are not stored permanently unless you are logged in with search history enabled.
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- Confirmed fix data may be aggregated anonymously to improve the service for all users.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GarageIQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or vehicle damage, arising from your use of the service.
GarageIQ's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, AI models, system prompts, and the confirmed fix database are the intellectual property of GarageIQ. You may not reproduce, reverse-engineer, or distribute any part of the service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
